Sorry that we didn't have class on Tues :-( I'm sure you all enjoyed a break. We are going ahead with the assignment to shoot General or Spot News. Read chapters 2 & 3 of your text (if you have not already) to give you a background and knowledge of what and how to shoot this. You can shoot events on campus or off campus. Some ideas: the Special Olympics opening ceremony is at the Idaho Center in Nampa this Sat. 2/7 from 2-5pm. You have access as a general fan and are allowed to photograph. It was too late for us to gain media access. There is also a blood drive on campus this Friday 2/6. Remember that the weather can make for great general news, be early to rise if there are foggy conditions or catch the sunset at Lake Lowell for a great view. Remember we have tripods for you to check out!
Images are due in class Tues. at 9:30. Do not post them yet, we will do some in-class reviewing and talking about which images are the strongest. Be sure to bring ALL your images from this shoot to class Tues. 2/10. See you tomorrow!
